Bass Outing 07/07
At the ice cream parlour at serene centre! me edwyna sipei elaine shared a tub of cookies and cream. it is not a good idea to eat ice cream with plastic spoon. you end up with cookies flying everywhere. sipei was being mean and eating up everyone's icecream. haha!

our empty tub!

haha i look spastic

Marriage of Figaro Opera 15/07
this was so cool. haha. maureen came by my house in the afternoon to accompany me on the piano for my bass exam pieces. then later i went down to esplanade early before the concert to celebrate maureen, yonghui and peiyan's birthday! cherry forgot to bring utensils so we had to use our hands to eat OUTSIDE ESPLANADE. haha=/ the opera was cool! stupid wenyi left halfway. haha.

Nanyang Glitters!22/07
Family concert! quite fun. we got to work with Ike See, concertmaster of SNYO for Carmen Fantasie by Sarasate(sp?) and Marriage of Figaro overture with Ms Samantha Chong the Band condunctor. esplanade backstage was quite nice, though one dressing room isnt enough for fourty people, you know. so we did makeup and stuff outside the room. elaine was the official hairdresser that day! =D here i shall kope some pictures from elaine.

RISE concert at UCC. 110806
after bass lesson, i met shirlynn yuhe and caoyun at KAP for dinner. saw eunice pinyan tianyi and some HCISO guys. we reacherd UCC at about 6.15. haha. slacked for very long. edwyna was sick so she couldnt come! so sad. saw dennis and a few other guys. deposited my bag at the customer service counter and went in. the concert was not too bad! mr chan's solo got the loudest applause. the cello ensemble was okay, sometimes i could exactly figure out what they were playing. for the encore piece they played marriage of figaro overture! wanghuan said they were out to spite us. but i thought i saw them faking. it was too fast haha. yuze's solo for the stravinsky(?) piece was super good haha. saw afzal and the Victoria strings comm. haha. went home with wanghuan.

today 120806.
maureen came over in the morning again. going to library later. supposed to go watch fireworks tonight but now cant make it. sigh. performing durin assembly on monday. bet everyone's gonna fall asleep. haha the piece is quite difficult to understand. thursday is bass exam! jiayou to me sipei edwyna, and hope that edwyna recovers soon!
